Now hear this! Former Bernician Peter Vanderberg started a independent press just last year called Ghostbird, which pairs literature with fantastic artwork. Now, just a few months later, he’s launching his first titles, and wouldn’t you know it, Bernice’s own John Reid Currie is among them.
This chapbook represents a huge step in John Currie’s career. We couldn’t be more proud of John right now! Also, the other poetry book, is a chapbook by series alum, and dear friend, Rajiv Mohabir, so you’ve got two reasons to come out to this.
So join Ghostbird (and possibly other birds?) at Fatty’s Cafe on June 28th for reading and food and fun. John and Rajiv will be reading from their brand new shiny, shiny chapbooks (which will be on sale) plus:
