Sorry this photo party is long overdue, but I want to thank everyone who came out for The Oh, Bernice! Holiday Special with Dollar Store Secret Santa. I know that the holidays are a busy time for everyone, so I’m glad that we not only packed the house at the Astoria Bookshop, but that the people who came were really into the spirit of dollar store gift giving.
Here’s a selection of photos from the night’s festivities, noteworthy for its focus on Brian Kim laughing in the background:
An excited crowd.
“Oh, that Henny Youngman!”
Ann Podracky showing off her new bangles (or directing traffic. We’re not really sure.)
Brian Matthew Kim is disappointed by your choice of dinosaur. #carnivoresdelight
Finally, Jolie Hale can do a Movember!
That’s suitable for framing.
Lexi Beach, owner of the Astoria Bookshop, wasn’t expecting a gift.
She’s cancelling the rest of our bookings because of this.
Animator/Playwright Jack Feldstein gets a jump start on his New Year’s resolution.
We’re not sure what it is, but it’s turned Brian Kim all blurry.
Hoyt Jacobs finds the magic.
Filmmaker Tin Roxas gets a gift.
Which is presented by to the audience by her wife, a young Mark Twain/Jolie Hale.
Is this legal?
Ingredients: chocolate and deliciousness.
I don’t remember what Sachiko Clayton got, but it seems like she’s going to make good use of it.
Jason Fischedick is smart.
Regina Lim can’t wait for the wonderful.
See you on January 17th, for the first Bernice of the New Year!
