Liv Mammone has just completed her tenure at Queens College as both a student and an adjunct and is now navigating the choppy waters of post-MFA life in her wheelchair accessible pirate ship. She has previously assisted creative writing classes at Hofstra under Philis Levin and Connie Roberts. She was an actress in and co-writer of Words: a Play in Verse in 2009 and has given readings at The Cell Theater for Artists Without Walls, Sip This and The Rockwood Music Hall. Her poems have appeared in Wordgathering and are forthcoming in Wicked Banshee, Poetry and Performance, and The Medical Journal of Australia. When she’s not writing, she’s researching the lives of dead mobsters.
