The woman, the myth, the legend: Ann Podracky will be reading this Saturday! Ann’s work is funny, wry, and emotional — you won’t want to miss it.
Ann Podracky‘s work has appeared most recently in WSQ (The Enchantment Issue, 12/12), Hanging Loose, and Poetry and Performance (Issue 40). Ann has read her work in different venues throughout the city including KGB, Bowery Poetry Club, Ear Inn, and was a featured reader at the Queens Central Library. Her prose has been read at the Playsmiths’ Flash Fest at the Manhattan Theatre Club. She received an MFA from Queens College’s Program in Creative Writing and Literary Translation and was a fiction editor for the online journal Ozone Park in 2010. She was a writer in residence at the Louis Armstrong Archives and Museum. She grew up in the Rockaways and lives in Queens, and currently interns for a small press.
